After going through my stack of autographed baseball cards, I noticed that during the off-season, I received several TTM autos from rookie pitchers. I don’t post every autograph I get on this blog, but I thought it would be neat to post some of my rookie cards.
Daniel McCutchen’s 2010 rookie card:

Yunesky Maya’s 2011 rookie card (signed in ballpoint pen):

Aaron Crow’s 2011 rookie card:

And Dillon Gee’s 2011 rookie card:

Coincidentally, Gee is tonight’s losing pitcher against the SF Giants!
So, here’s my second return of the day. If you’ve been following me, you’ll know that my first autograph return (ever) was from Ike Davis of the New York Mets. If you scroll down, you’ll see that the first card I sent him came back to me with a smudged autograph.
Well, I wrote Ike again because I got another one of his cards from a Topps Opening Day pack. The card below was sent to Citi Field right after the Mets played in San Francisco, back in July. Anyway, I wasn’t expecting to get this back because he already signed for me. A little silly of me to think that Ike would limit his fans to one auto. Right?
Thanks Ike!

And this time around, his autograph isn’t smeared!
In addition to collecting autographs from the SF Giants, I decided to take a chance with other teams. Today, I got a letter from New York, NY. Ike Davis of the New York Mets sent back my baseball card with his autograph! The only blemish? His number is smeared. I guess I could say that I have Ike Davis’ fingerprint.

Well at least I know this isn’t an autopen!
